So, apparently there is an elementary school in NJ named Barack Obama Elementary School. At least, there was a school named after the President. Seems the school is closing due to… get this…
Financial mismanagement and lack of achievement.
HA HA HA!!! Oh good grief. How perfect is that? That the school named for a man who is responsible for the biggest debt increase in American history and who is also famous for getting a Nobel Peace Prize for “hopenchange”…. A school named for that guy – is closing for lack of achievement and financial troubles. ROTFLMAO!
The state fiscal monitor who oversees financial operations in the school district Thursday morning ordered the closing of the Barack H. Obama Elementary School as of July 1. (Source)

Violating ethics charges to pay the lawyers you hired to defend you from ethics violation charges. Now that’s actually kind of funny.
Charlie Rangel apparently used $393,000 of PAC money to pay his legal-defense team. This is against house rules.

Seems a bunch of hecklers were hassling BigO about Global Aids funding. Read this story in WashPo for more information on why the hecklers are mad. I love this story because all those invovled in the Global Aids Fund are praising Bush and dissing BigO. Awesome.
The trouble, activists say, is that the big gains in generosity and economizing have mostly stopped. International AIDS assistance was the same in 2008 and 2009, and is not expected to go up much, if any, this year. The White House request for global AIDS spending for the next fiscal year is only 2 percent higher than what is being spent this year.
Although there’s argument about the exact numbers, there’s little doubt the Obama administration is on track to spend less than planned by either the GHI or the Lantos-Hyde Act of 2008, which renewed PEPFAR (Bush’s revolutionary President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) and authorized spending $48 billion from 2009 through 2013. Many other donor countries are taking a similar go-slower approach.
“Bush made a commitment, and then circumstances changed. Despite the change, he kept his word,” said Zeitz of the Global AIDS Alliance.
If you have yet heard, the Democrats have unveiled a big new thing that they promised would change the election! Are you ready for this?? Are you sitting down?? It was….
A new logo.
Yea. And a crappy one at that:
I couldn’t help it. This new logo just screamed for some Photoshop treatment. So I gave it some.
1. Change that sucks!
2. Change is all we'll have left
3. Just Say No
4. More of the Same
Oh, I could keep going all night with this. But tell me, which is your favorite?
The left-wing group A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) held a protest – I am unsure as to the when and where – and chanted, “Obama, you pr*ck! You lied to us you d*ck!” over and over. I thought it was kind of funny actually. Here’s the video:
Then I noticed the video is tagged with stuff like “912, glenbeck, hannity” and wondered who was behind A.N.S.W.E.R. So, just for fun, I looked into this group. They are a radical left-wing bunch, aligned with the likes of Free Palestine Alliance, the Mexico Solidarity Network, and the Muslim Student Association, which is a part of the much larger Muslim Brotherhood. Interesting.
So… Obama’s own people – the looney left – are now protesting him. This is starting to get fun.
A federal judge in Chicago has refused to issue a subpoena for President Barack Obama to testify at former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s political corruption trial. (Source)
Rush Limbaugh mentioned this last Friday. He said:
All right, no surprise here, folks. “A federal judge in Chicago has refused to issue a subpoena for President Barack Obama to testify at former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s political corruption trial. The judge, James Zagel, ruled that lawyers for Blagojevich had not produced sufficient evidence that Obama would have anything material to say on the witness stand.” That’s probably true, no matter what the subject. But still, it’s a sad day for Blago. This isn’t going to end well for him. He’s up against the regime. He’s got not a prayer.
It just keeps getting better and better.
