Cry-Baby Boehner has got to go. Not only does he “absolutely” trust Obama, He doesn’t think the debt crisis is an “immediate threat” & says that he is part of Obama’s “common-sense caucus.” Somebody in the conservative movement needs to primary his butt.
This comes on the heels of his gaffe – repeatedly calling Sarah Steelman “Deb Steelman”, and his spouting off about the MO Senate race with little inside knowledge of said race. Read Dana Loesch’s blog for some inside insight to the MO race – essentially, the party in MO had crowned it’s favorite, and when the people did NOT agree, the GOP took it’s money and went home, refusing to help Akin at all, despite the fact that he was heavily favored to win prior to opening his mouth and inserting his foot all the way to his kneecap – something that could have been avoided if the GOP had helped him prep for some of the stupidity headed his way.
Personally, I think Rove is a pathetic little man who is upset that he can’t control the Tea Party. He’s mad that his man lost, again, and instead of looking to see what he did wrong, he’s going to pin the blame on the media’s favorite goat, the Tea Party.
I could go on, and on, and on, and on. But I don’t have enough time right now.
Code Pink, dressed as Giant Lady Parts.
But according to our President’s campaign – the same campaign that has made a 30-something activist law student the star of their campaign because she wants the government to pay for her birth control – according to the President’s campaign, women are nothing more than their “lady parts” and the only issue that matters is Birth Control (read: Abortion).
So, the democrats see me as nothing but a giant walking vay-jay-jay, but it’s the Republicans who don’t respect women and are waging a War on Women?
As the dust settles in Afghanistan after sustained protest over a Florida pastor’s Quran burning, many residents in Kandahar are facing an unpleasant truth: More Qurans were burned in the course of their protests than by Terry Jones. The demonstrations, which started peacefully, quickly turned violent, killing at least nine people and injuring scores in Kandahar City alone. And as protesters vandalized a girls’ school and set fire to shops, Qurans also inadvertently went up in flames. “If they burn a shop, there is a Quran in every shop, so this is a big problem,” says Azizullah Aziz, a perfume and soap salesman in Kandahar City. “People don’t know how to protest.”
Jerry Brown announced he has received the endorsement of the National Organization for Women, less than 24 hours after the emergence of a recorded message in which Brown can be heard in a conversation with advisors in which someone calls Whitman a “whore.” Coincidence? You be the judge.
Pilloried for nearly three months as it tried repeatedly to stop the leak, BP PLC capped the nearly mile (kilometer)-deep well Thursday and wants to keep it that way. The government’s plan, however, is to eventually pipe oil to the surface, which would ease pressure on the fragile well but would require up to three more days of oil spilling into the Gulf.
