The crosstitch plane is a B-17, the plane he flew. The flag was from his coffin in 1994. All but the Purple Heart and Air Medal are replacements, except for the POW medal, which was awarded posthumously. The patches are replacements from the historical group that runs the 398th. The wings were his, passed down to me through his son.
